Successful criminal revision under s. 323(1) of the Criminal Procedure Code. The High Court set aside an extended remand order issued by an Assistant Registrar of the Magistrates' Court for non-compliance with paragraph 14 of the Chief Justice's Practice Direction No. 11 of 2021, which prescribes the order of priority of judicial officers empowered to hear s. 117 remand applications.
